Widely Grown, based out of Jersey City, New Jersey, plays a dynamic mix of Americana and Country. Led by James Calleo, who hails from Ramsey in Bergen County, this upbeat 5-piece outfit weaves together their sets from the fibers of delicate folk to energetic, high-octane, country-bluegrass-rock n' roll. In writing the songs, Calleo pulls from his past experiences, whether it be driving cross country, hitch-hiking the California coast; backpacking and sleeping out under the stars; spending 5 months in India, or just missing family and friends while out on the road. Each member of the band brings their own unique background and influence into the music. Widely Grown will be touring to support new music releases throughout 2024 including a stop at the Party Stage.
