The Speakers, a band assembled by Lagond Music School in Elmsford, consists of 6 talented Westchester musicians, each with disabilities ranging from Autism to Cerebral Palsy and each with sights on a professional music career. The band is fronted by captivating lead singer Kerryn Prieto from Elmsford and also features Pleasantville's own Kevin O'Brien on sax. Also performing with them will be the band leader and bassist Paul Maddison, Hayden Martin of West Harrison on keys and vocals, Geoff Coggeshall of White Plains on sax, and Max Rubin of Pound Ridge as well as Jordan Levy of Chappaqua  on drums/percussion. The Speakers are an amazing testament to overcoming obstacles in order to achieve one's dreams, while also proving that music has the power to unite, heal, and inspire.
