festival volunteers welcome

The Pleasantville Music Festival is gathering names for volunteers!
Scroll over the following categories for descriptions and requirements:

Stage Crew volunteers work hard, loading cases, lifting equipment, and moving as a team. Music or theater crew experience a plus. Energy a must. Shifts include Friday load-in and late Saturday load-out.

Security volunteers help keep the Festival secure by controlling limited-access areas and enforcing Festival rules throughout the grounds. Shifts include work both inside and outside Festival gates.

Hospitality volunteers work backstage, preparing dressing rooms, running errands for artists, working with caterers, and straightening up. Shifts include Friday setup and evening load-out.

Zero Waste volunteers help reduce the environmental impact of the Festival by refilling water bottles and helping guests and performers sort their waste. Shifts include Friday setup and evening load-out.

General Volunteers work inside or outside Festival gates, directing parking, wrist-banding guests, staffing the info booth, setting up vendors, checking coolers, supervising Tent City, and more.

If you're interested in volunteering, even if you have volunteered with us before, please email us by filling in the Volunteer Info Form below. If multiple members of your family are looking to volunteer, please fill in a form for each member.

Filling in the form allows us to know your interests, gather appropriate information, and communicate with you about your areas of interest. While filling in the form is not a guarantee that you will get the position of your choice, it is a first step.

okay, Then what happens?

You will receive an email letting you know when the online sign-up is open. That's when you're able to choose available assignments. Pleasantville residents will receive this link first. Stage Crew and Security volunteers will be contacted directly at a later date.

Once all slots are full, we will confirm your assignment and make arrangements for t-shirts, bracelets, and volunteer meetings.

The fine print

Volunteers may be adults or students 14 and older, although student slots are limited. Shifts range from 2 1/2 to 4 hours, and some categories require skills and/or a commitment outside Festival hours. All volunteers must pre-register. Volunteering for a previous Festival does not guarantee a slot in this year's Festival.

Please understand that we cannot accommodate "last-minute tag-along" volunteers of any age on the day of the event.
