Battle of the Bands winners For Lack Of A Term are a raucous alt-punk-pop-rock 5-piece from Yonkers with influences ranging from the Chili Peppers to Green Day. Since forming in 2014, they’ve played all over  lower Westchester and NYC. Albany-based 5-piece Stellar Young is a tight, well produced blend of atmospheric indie-rock and upbeat post-punk. Fun instrumentation, great vocals, with lyrics that run deep about the human condition. Their music, including We Own Nothing (here) from 2013's Everything At Once, is a great ride and worth checking out. Stellar Young has been touring all over the US, and we’re happy to have them on our Party Stage, made possible by Pamnation. Arc & Stones

Arc & Stones has a sound that could easily place them in Seattle or L.A., but its roots are right in New York’s Backyard, with connections to Danbury, Pelham, and Thornwood. This tight power trio throws emotional vocals, tasty riffs, and body-swaying beats. They've been touring constantly supporting 3 EPs, with songs like Wait For You (here) and opening for rock legends Kansas. alpaca gnomes

The Alpaca Gnomes are a vibrant, stomp-and-groove, 7 piece rock-folk jam band out of Bridgeport, CT. Known for spreading the joy wherever they go, they've rocked local clubs, festivals, and giant parties from here to Pasadena. Look out for their loyal fans, called "Gnomies," who sport the band's Gnome-style hats at shows. SIR CADIAN RHYTHM

Sir Cadian Rhythm is a fun, tight 5-piece rock-pop band out of Long Island, all coming from different backgrounds but together making a sound that makes you move. Since 2015, SCR has been featured in over 45 blogs and publications. Their latest single, Not Quite Done Yet (here) has racked up over 200,000 streams on Spotify. Last year, Sir Cadian Rhythm won The Peak Battle of the Bands. Bam! Ripe is bringing back the funk with earth-shaking rhythm, banging bass, killer horns, and one charismatic front man. Percolating out of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ripe takes funk, psych, jam, and pop, and churns it into a groove that defies you not to move. Here's why you must show up early: to see Battle of the Bands winners RIIZA on the Main Stage. Uninhibited drumming, cabalistic bass, insurgent guitar, and a voice that screams with perfect pitch. Hailing from Westchester, they cut their teeth on Zeppelin. But they won the Battle with face-melting originals, mad skills, and swagger. Not bad for a bunch of guys, half of whom are still in high school. Thanks to Lagond Music School for sponsoring our Battle of the Bands.

Caleb Flood has performed his original music from New York to Hollywood, Brighton England to the Hague. His videos have been seen millions of times, and his single, Doubts (here) is all over the Peak. Now this 19 year-old from Hastings has joined up-and-coming band of brothers, The Culture, for a full-out rocking sound. Come early to see these guys on the Main Stage, and SEE MORE VIDEOS HERE.

hollis brown

Queens-born band Hollis Brown rocks. Songs like the hard-driving Peak favorite, Run Right To You (here), and the atmospheric 3 Shots, have gotten them gigs opening for Counting Crows, Citizen Cope, and countless others. They recently recorded a tribute to the Velvet Underground’s album, Loaded. Their music has been in TV and movies. They’ve toured all over the U.S. and Europe. From her start in the Greenwich Village folk scene to her platinum Solitude Standing, featuring the cultural touchstone, Luka (here), to her influence on a generation of artists, Suzanne Vega is an icon among singer-songwriters. Her voice is so clear that it was used to test the invention of the MP3! Suzanne Vega is joined on our Main Stage by her longtime bassist, Mike Visceglia and former David Bowie guitarist/musical director, Gerry Leonard. SEE MORE VIDEOS HERE.

In a time when music was becoming increasingly segregated, Living Colour tore down the walls. Their vocals, skills, and style caught the eye of Mick Jagger. Their debut album, 1988's Vivid, took MTV by storm, thanks to their multiple-Grammy-winning Cult of Personality  (here). Today, the band continues to inspire the next mold-breaking generation, with their forthcoming Shade. We are glad to welcome them to our Main Stage. SEE MORE VIDEOS HERE.

Headliner Blues Traveler has been making bluesy, jammy rock since 1987. Their 1990 single But Anyway earned them a place on Letterman, and their 1994 album, Four, with hits like Run-Around and Hook (here), blew them into the MTV stratosphere. This innovative, Grammy-winning band has released their 12 studio album and most collaborative effort yet, Blow Up The Moon, and we're happy to have them headlining on our Main Stage. SEE MORE VIDEOS HERE.

The sun is at its highest. Now's the time to head to the Chill Tent to see Battle of the Bands winner Mary Hood. Mary's clear voice, raw lyrics, and guitar have earned her comparisons to Fiona Apple, Elliot Smith, and Nick Drake. She may even pre-mind you of Suzanne Vega. She's played from Beacon to Nashville to the Bitter End, with songs like Fool's Gold (here). Start the day sunny and clear. Thanks to Lagond Music School for sponsoring our Battle of the Bands.

1:00 ghost millionaires

Pleasantville’s own Ghost Millionaires play the gamut from heavy minor-key rock to exuberant pop. With influences as diverse as the Velvet Underground and Irish music, Ghost Millionaires create a sound they call “Post-Pop Rock.” Check out this “Tiny Desk”-esque video of the full band for Happiness Descends. James Maddock

James Maddock crafts honest, soulful, American folk-rock songs that have garnered the respect of the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Willie Nile. This transplant from Leicester, England has produced 6 solo albums, including the award-winning Sunrise On Avenue C, Another Life (title track here), and his latest venture, The Green. We’re happy to welcome James Maddock for a special duo acoustic performance our Chill Tent Stage. Khaya

Khaya is a singer-songwriter-guitarist from NYC with tons of accolades, including former X-Factor finalist and "Best Teen Songwriter" honor at 17 by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. She's performed all over the city, including Rockwood Music Hall and Bowery Electric, and we're overjoyed she is stepping in for Hailey Knox who had a scheduling conflict. SHOVEL READY STRING BAND

The Hudson Valley's Shovel Ready String Band performs heartfelt original songs, country blues, bluegrass, traditional ballads, and up-tempo instrumental tunes like Golden Slippers (here). 7:05 POUSETTE-DART BAND

Chill Tent headliners The Pousette-Dart Band, led by Jon Pousette-Dart, carved a place in American music in the 1970’s with four critically hailed albums, including Amnesia (title track here). With a sound comparable to the Eagles, America, and Orleans, they toured constantly along with such big names as Peter Frampton and Yes. Jon's solo and band work continue to win acclaim to this day.
